A Diamond In Time is a unique jewelry and watch boutique located at the Harborage at Ashley Marina in downtown Charleston. With over 25 years of experience in the jewelry industry, the staff at A Diamond In Time has the knowledge to ensure that you'll get great value and end up with a product that exceeds your expectations.

We specialize in custom engagement rings, estate jewelry, and pre-owned Rolex watches. We have a select inventory on hand but the talent to design the piece of your dreams.

We also buy watches, gold, diamonds, and silver!

The Team

Allen Mozingo

Allen stumbled upon the jewelry business as a teenager, when he befriended the owner of a jewelry shop in the mall. He worked in the shop through high school and eventually became friends with one of the store’s sales representatives. Upon graduation, he transitioned to the wholesale side of the business while attending North Carolina State University. He also spent time in a watch repair store, learning about the inner workings of high-end timepieces.

Allen wholesaled watches and diamonds for 25 years. Then, aware of the growing demand for luxury watches and quality gemstones, he decided it was time to make another move. In 2009, he opened his own shop, A Diamond In Time, in I’On village in Mount Pleasant. After a few years he realized that most clients want custom, unique pieces. In 2019, he decided to close the I'On store front and opened a boutique space in downtown Charleston at the Ashley Marina. In this space he works by appointment only so he can focus on giving each customer individual attention to create their unique piece.
